Why Stripes Ahead

This is not an online course. It’s career progression.

Everything is built to move you from where you are now to the sergeant your team deserves — the knowledge, the interview craft, and an expert in your corner.

A

Built for the exam and the board

Aligned to the NPPF Part 1 legal syllabus and the competency-based promotion interview — not generic study tips.

B

A real path, not a pile of PDFs

A deliberate sequence of 17 modules across three strands, so every session moves you forward and you always know what is next.

C

An expert in your corner

1-to-1 coaching with a former Detective Chief Inspector who has sat on the other side of the promotion board.

Shaun Page

MODEL ANSWER · STAR-L
Revealed
S On a busy custody handover I spotted a detainee’s medical flag had not been passed on.
T I needed to ensure the detainee’s welfare without undermining the outgoing officer.
A I raised it privately and directly with the sergeant and logged it correctly.
R The flag was actioned within minutes and the detainee received their medication.
L I now brief medical flags first at every handover — a habit I’ve shared with my team.
